Established in 1858, Broadway Cemetery (also known as Peterborough Old Cemetery) is a serene, historic burial ground and designated County Wildlife Site. Nestled on Broadway near Granville Street, it’s known for its rich tapestry of over 150 wildflower species — including meadow saxifrage and ox-eye daisy — that bloom seasonally across its mature tree-lined paths. The cemetery is also the resting place of war casualties, and is recognized by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for its historic memorials.
