Getting Around

Peterborough is exceptionally well connected by road, making it one of the most accessible cities in the East of England. The A1(M) runs just west of the city, providing direct links north to Yorkshire and the North East and south towards London and the Home Counties. From the west, the A47 connects Peterborough to Leicester and the Midlands, while to the east it continues towards Wisbech, King’s Lynn, and the Norfolk coast.

The city is also served by the A15, which runs north to Lincoln and south towards Stamford, and the A605, providing a convenient route from the west through Northamptonshire and the Nene Valley.

Once you arrive, Peterborough’s compact layout makes it easy to navigate. The city centre is clearly signposted, with ample parking close to shops, attractions, and the Cathedral Quarter.
