Leading on innovative projects and providing key investment, it aims to make the city centre a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place, raising its profile nationally with new, diverse and prestigious events and exciting marketing campaigns.
City Centre Map: A Tool & Guide for Visitors
A complementary project of the BID is its City Centre Map — a freely available map designed to help visitors and residents navigate the central area. Click on the map below to download a large version.

Locations of car parks, taxi ranks, visitor information points, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Blue Plaque locations, with details on notable historic buildings.

The map is available in a digital download (PDF) or as a physical copy from the Tourist Information Centre at Peterborough Museum or the Town Hall.

Recent updates include addition of defibrillators, new plaques, and improved coverage of parking assets.
This map supports one of the BID’s strategic objectives (wayfinding / interpretation) by making the city more legible and inviting to newcomers.
