Titanosaur at Peterborough Cathedral

This April, Peterborough Cathedral will unveil a prehistoric giant beneath its soaring central tower. Step inside and come face to face with Titanosaur, a full-scale cast of Patagotitan mayorum, the most complete giant dinosaur ever discovered, an awe-inspiring loan from the Natural History Museum.
At an astonishing 37 metres long and 8 metres tall, this colossal creature will dominate the Cathedral’s crossing, transforming the space into a jaw-dropping encounter with Earth’s ancient past. It’s a unique chance to stand beside one of the biggest animals to ever walk the planet, right here in Peterborough.
What awaits you
A breathtaking full-scale cast of Titanosaur that redefines “epic scale”
A vibrant programme of family activities (on selected dates)
Events that dive into the science, history, and wonder of these prehistoric titans
This event continues the Cathedral’s ambitious mission to bring world-class cultural experiences to the city – and this is our most spectacular yet.
