A celebration of modern and heritage diesel traction

Join the Nene Valley Railway for an action-packed Diesel Gala weekend, featuring an exciting mix of visiting and home-fleet locomotives, intensive services, and a wide range of attractions across the railway.

Taking centre stage will be a Class 66 (66xxx), visiting courtesy of GBRf, with funds raised in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital. The exact locomotive number will be announced in due course.

This appearance is particularly significant, as this will be the first time the attending Class 66 has hauled passenger trains (subject to subject to availability)— making this a truly historic occasion for diesel enthusiasts.
