Exhibition: Peterborough Museum, 22nd November 2025 – 17th January 2026
There are certain figures in Peterborough’s cultural landscape whose presence is as enduring as the city’s own heritage – their work a thread that quietly binds together festivals, galleries, and the communities who gather around them. For me, Tony Nero is one such figure. Our paths first crossed in the earliest days of The Moment, and over the years, at numerous exhibitions and the much-missed Heritage and Arts Festivals, our conversations have always been heartfelt and inspiring. Tony’s warmth, sincerity, and commitment to his craft have left a lasting impression – not only on me, but on all who have had the pleasure of encountering his work.
It is with genuine fondness and admiration, then, that we announce Tony’s landmark retrospective, Half A Pencil, at Peterborough Museum this winter – a major exhibition that will occupy three galleries and run from 22nd November 2025 to 17th January 2026. The scale of the show is a testament both to Tony’s prolific output and to the high regard in which he is held by the city’s creative community…
