Peterborough Cathedral
One of the finest Norman buildings in England, begun in 1118 and crowned by a painted nave ceiling that has survived since around 1250. Katharine of Aragon is buried here, and Mary, Queen of Scots rested here for 25 years before her tomb was moved to Westminster Abbey.
