The 46th Peterborough CAMRA Beer Festival takes place from 19 to 23 August 2025 on the Embankment behind the Key Theatre. This much-loved summer event fills giant marquees on the riverside with the buzz of conversation, the clink of glasses, and the sounds of live music. It runs from Tuesday evening through to Saturday night, drawing thousands of visitors from across the region.
Over the five days, festival-goers can enjoy more than 300 draught ales, ranging from traditional cask favourites to innovative brews from new microbreweries. There are also special bars dedicated to key keg craft ales, world beers, cider and perry, wine and mead, plus a popular gin bar offering around 70 different gins. Soft drinks, snacks, and a wide choice of hot food — including vegetarian and vegan options — make sure there’s something for everyone.
Entertainment is at the heart of the festival, with live bands, Morris dancers, pub games, a tombola, and CAMRA-led tasting sessions creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The location on the River Nene is just a short walk from Peterborough station, with parking and safe drop-off points nearby.
More than just a celebration of beer, the Peterborough Beer Festival is a celebration of community spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned ale enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable day out, it offers a chance to relax, discover new flavours, and enjoy the best of Peterborough in the summertime.
