SUMMARY:Longthorpe Tower Tours
DESCRIPTION:Longthorpe Tower is the surviving part of a 14th century\, three storey medieval fortified Manor House. It contains the finest set of medieval wall paintings in a domestic setting in Western Europe\, giving a rare insight into the medieval mind. \nWe have a team of knowledgeable and passionate volunteers who will deliver guided tours – they really bring the Tower to life for visitors! \nTo visit the site you will need to book in advance and there is a small charge. \nThe Tower is open most Saturdays and Sundays from 10am. \nLongthorpe Tower (1290-1300) is cared for by English Heritage and managed locally by Nene Park Trust.
