DESCRIPTION:Join us this July for Community Dance Day 2026\, a joyful festival of dance for the whole family. Celebrating movement\, creativity and community\, this exciting one-day event offers audiences of all ages the chance to watch\, participate and discover a variety of dance styles from around the world. \nThe programme features two inspiring performances\, including the enchanting family show Evim (My Home) for ages 2–7 and the captivating Kathak dance performance NIDA. Alongside the performances\, audiences can take part in five interactive workshops\, exploring everything from Hip Hop and Beatboxing to Indian Dance\, Children’s Dance\, Gumboot Dance and Swordplay. \nThere’s plenty more to enjoy throughout the day\, with face painting\, henna art\, circus activities\, live entertainment and opportunities to meet artists and connect with local communities. Whether you’re an experienced dancer\, a curious beginner or simply looking for a fun and affordable family day out\, Community Dance Day offers something for everyone. \nCome together with friends and family to celebrate the joy of dance in all its forms.
