Update
New public toilets are coming to the city centre
Peterborough City Council has committed to installing new public toilets in the city centre, paid for through the government’s Pride in Place programme. The lack of central facilities has been one of the most consistent things residents have asked for in recent consultations on the future of the city centre.

Still to be confirmed: how many toilets there will be, exactly where they will go, and whether they will be free to use. The mayor of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority has asked the council for more detail on the design and materials.
